1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the SerendipTours website and services, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you must not use our services.

These terms apply to all visitors, customers, and users who access or use our website, book tours, or engage with any of our services.

2. Our Services

SerendipTours provides travel-related services in Sri Lanka, including but not limited to:

• Day tours and multi-day tour packages across Sri Lanka
• Airport transfers and point-to-point vehicle transfers
• Customised private travel itineraries
• Travel consultation and destination guidance

All services are subject to availability. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any service at any time without prior notice.

3. Bookings & Payments

Booking enquiries submitted through our website are not confirmed reservations until you receive a written confirmation from SerendipTours via email.

• A deposit may be required to secure your booking.
• Full payment is typically due prior to the commencement of services.
• Prices quoted are per person unless otherwise stated and may be subject to change prior to confirmation.
• All prices are in USD unless otherwise indicated.

4. Cancellations & Refunds

Our cancellation and refund policy is as follows:

• More than 7 days before departure: Full refund of any deposit paid.
• 3–7 days before departure: 50% refund of the total tour price.
• Less than 48 hours before departure: No refund.
• No-shows: No refund will be issued.

Cancellations must be submitted in writing via email to our official contact address. Refunds, where applicable, will be processed within 7–14 business days.

SerendipTours reserves the right to cancel services due to unforeseen circumstances (extreme weather, political unrest, road closures). In such cases, a full refund or alternative date will be offered.

5. Traveller Conduct

All travellers are expected to behave respectfully towards our staff, drivers, guides, and other travellers. SerendipTours reserves the right to terminate services without refund if a traveller:

• Behaves in a manner that endangers themselves or others
• Causes damage to vehicles or property
• Engages in illegal activities
• Fails to comply with local laws and customs of Sri Lanka

6. Limitation of Liability

SerendipTours acts as a service provider and is not liable for any personal injury, loss, damage, accident, delay, or expense arising from circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to: natural disasters, strikes, government actions, or the actions of third-party suppliers.

We strongly recommend all travellers obtain comprehensive travel insurance before departure, covering medical emergencies, cancellations, and personal liability.

Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the total amount paid by the client for the specific service in question.

7. Intellectual Property

All content on this website — including text, images, graphics, logos, and design — is the property of SerendipTours and is protected by applicable copyright and intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use any content without our prior written permission.

8. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.

9. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Sri Lanka.
